Isekai (Japanese: 異世界, transl. “different world” or “otherworld”) is a Japanese genre of light novels, manga, anime and video games that revolve around a person who is transported to and has to survive in another world, such as a fantasy world, virtual world or parallel universe. This plot device allows the audience to learn about the new world at the same pace as the protagonist. Isekai works can also often fall under the fantasy, science fiction, portal fantasy or accidental travel genres. *https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isekai

Formed over 30 years of running D&D Games, Ricrazore is our homemade setting with deep historical roots.
The setting is a world created by the God AO or “Alpha Omega”. Like any other god of creation, he made a world and set it on a path of evolution, taking ideas from what he liked of his fellow creator gods’ worlds as a shortcut. He set the basics of the hierarchy of the world. Beautiful oceans, volcanic islands, a snowy ice cap, continents and lands of all shapes and sizes. It was a beautiful home for his creations. Sadly, AO was a bit distractable, and grew bored. He decided that the humanoids he had created were too much work. So, without telling his sibling creator gods, he opened portals to their creations and acquired huge swathes of their efforts, creatures, cultures, humanoids, monsters, and let them come to his world.
Like all things not well thought out, this got out of hand. Frustrated with the mess he had made he stepped back after giving the stolen peoples the ability to manifest the gods they believed in, as new gods of this world, created through chance and circumstance.
The Earth pantheons came into being on this world to care for the people now trapped on it. The Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Japanese, Hindu, and the Celtic were the strongest and survived to flourish. Others of the monster races also came into being but as the human gods held the most power based on the number of followers the many other gods were lost to time. Thousands of years passed on this world of mixed cultures and many wars were waged. But in the end the humans joined together as one. Races like elves, dwarves, halfings, beast races like wolfen or catfolk survived only by joining with the humans to live in relative peace.
